You may recall that in my last blog post I told you about a recent investigation that had been carried out by Sky News that found that up to 1 million Brits could be using steroids on a regular basis.
Well I have just been reading this news story in the Daily Mail that perfectly illustrates the dangers of taking anabolic steroids because in this case a young British man started taking steroids at the age of 22 and nearly died as a result.
When he first started taking a cocktail of anabolic steroids, he soon became addicted after experiencing some solid muscle gains, but just six months later he suffered a heart attack on a night out and was very lucky to escape with his life.
According to this report, doctors later discovered that his heart was much bigger than it should have been because of the effects of these performance-enhancing drugs, and was told in no uncertain terms that if he didn’t stop taking them, he would almost certainly die as a result.
Thankfully the young man followed this advice and is now totally clean, but he was one of the lucky ones. Many users of anabolic steroids aren’t so lucky and will either end up suffering a fatal heart attack, or will experience a number of adverse side effects later on in life when the damage has already been done.
For instance, regular users of anabolic steroids can suffer from reduced sex drive, shrunken testicles, infertility, baldness, gynecomastia (male breast enlargement), acne, abnormal forehead growth, liver and kidney tumours, high blood pressure and high cholesterol, not to mention the increased risk of suffering from a heart attack.
So the point I want to make is that you are taking a huge risk by taking these illegal steroids because in my opinion the potential risks far outweigh the benefits.
As I mentioned in my previous article, if you really want to bulk up and build some serious muscle mass, you can still do so without taking these dangerous steroids.
Of course it takes a lot of dedication and hard work, but if you train regularly, increase your calorie intake (making sure to include lots of high-protein foods in your diet) and maybe supplementing this with some protein shakes, it is not that hard to bulk up fairly quickly.
If you are still not getting the results you want, then you should consider supplementing this program with a legal bulking steroid such as Anadrole or D-Bal, for example.
These are alternatives to the Anadrol and Dianabol steroids that are made from safe, natural ingredients, and will help give you massive muscle gains without any side effects.
